OK, so that was unpleasant. It's super hot and muggy out today; I drank about 100 OZs of water on the ride and still feel dehydrated from sweating my ass off. The ride to Noyac wasn't too bad and I stopped in town and had a slice of pizza, but I didn't realize the ride home would be all uphill. My heart rate was over 175 for way too long giving me a headache and at one point I looked at it and I was approaching 190; not pleasant riding at 95% of your max, especially when you're just trying to keep going.

OK, I think I see the problem. You went to Noyac. You should've gone to Nyack.
And what's this about a slice of pizza? Did you not go to the Runcible Spoon, as suggested?
Now that you know the way, though, I suggest you try it on a nicer day. It can be a really nice ride. And it's not uphill all the way. You're focusing on that one climb up to Rt. 9W. The rest is up AND DOWN and up AND DOWN. See, it's how you emphasize it.
OOPS, I meant Nyack... I'll change that bit now.
You need to drink more water. Lots more water.
Normally 20 oz an hour is plenty; it was just too hot.
