West on Clay and into the Presidio by the Arguello Gate. Through the Presidio and down to Crissy Field, then home.

This ride is a bit of a cheat. In the afternoons in San Francisco we almost always get a steady westerly breeze. The breeze blows across most of the city, but it's strongest by the water where it can be 10-15 MPH. By riding west along Clay street and east along Crissy Field, I get some protection from the wind when I'm heading into it and the full benefit of the wind going the other way. In fact, I do an easy 17 MPH coming home, where my usual low-effort speed is 14-15 MPH.
